While all participants who complete our trainings are eligible to receive certificates of completion, accredited CEs are not available at this time. We are in the process of applying for CE accreditation with several professional organizations. Please check back, as we hope to have a different answer to this question soon!

We currently offer Clinical Workshops intended for clinicians and counselors in a wide variety of settings. Additionally, we offer Train-the-Trainer seminars that prepare individuals to become workshop trainers in their own communities. Furthermore, we offer CALM-SAFE, a firearms literacy training program that helps clinicians be more comfortable and culturally competent when discussing safe firearm storage. In addition to clinical trainings, we offer CALM Conversations – a gatekeeper training for non-clinical audiences – and the Lethal Means Academy– a training that brings community stakeholders together to develop customized suicide prevention strategies. We also provide organizational consultation services to help CALM principles become fully integrated into practice.

Certified CALM Clinical Workshops are 43 hours in total. Train-the-Trainer Seminars run approximately 140 hours over two days. CALM Conversations is 90 minutes, and CALM-SAFE is a two-hour training.
